The Joint Medical Holdings Group was established almost 40 years ago in the 1980’s, by a group of doctors who wanted to provide accessible healthcare to disadvantaged communities during the apartheid years. By overcoming obstacles such as the Group Areas Act and with no defined roadmap to follow, the Group started its flagship facility, Isipingo Hospital, providing superior medical care to the local community. Today the Joint Medical Holdings Group includes a total of seven healthcare facilities operating across the KwaZulu – Natal province.
